The 48 Group is organising a significant initiative ahead of our AI+ Expo in October 2025, where we will officially launch the China membership for the 48 Group—marking the first time in 70 years that we are extending membership to Chinese companies. The Expo will focus on AI+ applications in healthcare and renewable energy, bringing together businesses, policymakers, and investors to explore opportunities in these sectors.
In preparation for this milestone event, we are conducting the AI+ Expo Roadshow in May 2025, an exclusive trip designed to engage with key stakeholders across China, laying the groundwork for high-level participation in October.
AI+ Expo Roadshow Itinerary
Beijing (May 19–21, 2025)
- May 19 – Beijing E-Town (北京经济技术开发区) High-level roundtable discussions with key government figures, including representatives from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the National Energy Administration (NEA)—the primary agencies overseeing China’s energy and industrial strategy. Officials from the National Health Commission will also participate, alongside leading voices in healthcare and renewable energy. Private B2B meetings with selected companies will explore strategic partnerships, all taking place in Beijing E-Town, the city’s premier zone for high-tech industries and innovation.
- May 20 – Beijing E-Town (北京经济技术开发区) AI+ Conference hosted in the heart of Beijing E-Town, showcasing advanced AI-driven solutions in healthcare and renewable energy. The day will feature keynote presentations from international and Chinese technology leaders, panel discussions on innovation and regulation, and demonstrations of cutting-edge net-zero and med-tech solutions. E-Town’s position as a national-level innovation zone makes it the ideal setting to highlight global collaboration and forward-looking technologies.
- May 21 – Beijing Financial Street (金融街), Xicheng District (西城区) Strategic meetings in Beijing’s Financial Street, located in Xicheng District. Delegates will engage with leading investment funds, financial institutions, and advisors to explore financing opportunities and establish long-term relationships.
